Reaching Hannover

The Hannover airport is IATA: HAJ.
Hannover has good railway connections coming from cities with international Airports,  like Frankfurt, Munich or Amsterdam. Hannover can be reached by train in reasonable times from Paris or Warszawa.

Reaching the hotel

The hotel is right in the city center of Hannover, thus easily reachable.

From the airport railway station:
take surburban train (S-Bahn) S5 (direction Hameln or Paderborn) to Hannover Hauptbahnhof. Take a '2 zone'  ticket for €3,10. This is valid from the airport to the entire city center.

 

From the central station (Hauptbahnhof) to the hotel:

From here it is very convenient to use the subway.

From the hotel to the AEI:

Walk to the station Ägidientorplatz , 7 mins.
Subway line 4 , direction Garbsen
or Subway line 5, direction Stöcken
The max waiting time during working days is 5 mins.
The trams need 7 mins, exit at Appelstraße.
Walk 3 mins to the Institut.
The total commuting time is 17-22 mins.
